I remember that big photo well!!It hung in the downstairs hallway in our barracks.I'm in the 3rd row from the bottom, far right...

Kind of weird to see myself 25 years later...I live in L.A. now and have a pretty fun life...I still keep in touch with Julio Garay,he's in the pic as well...

Good Times.

Thanks for posting this.

Hey great photo, I actually found this site looking for this type of photo. I am SFC Brian Glasspoole still serving in the Army at Fort Carson, Colorado. I served at Peden Barracks from Feb 1991-93 with some of the others mentioned like, Sandman, Caccia,SSG Cantrell, SGT Deleon and many others. So is there a way to get ahold of more photos like this. Please contact if you would like. My email is: brian.glasspoole@us.army.mil

Thanks.
Brian Glasspoole

I actually posted this photo. Sp/4 Terry Gerhart. I was a 13R X-Ray5 with the TAB radar section. Anyone wishing to reconnect can email me at terryfgerhart@msn.com and I am also on Facebook. Really enjoyed my time at Peden.

It hurts to go back to Peden and see the way that it has changed. Last time I went the old A-25 barracks were boarded up, the volleyball pit was overgrown and that rose bush out front was just wild.

i was there last year and bld. 4 and 5 are gone. now are houses where the volleyball court was and the marne garden is also gone.

Hello to everyone! My name is Sheridan Franklin and I was with A/Btry 4/27FA from April 1983 to Oct 1985. I was a SP4 at the time. I was there when Cpt Vernon Crocker assumed command of the unit. 1SG Damron was still the 1SG and SFC Max Taylor was my platoon sergeant along with SSG Malone as my section chief. I was in S-3. I was sad to see that I wasn't in this photo but more than likely I had already left Peden Barracks to to my MOS reclassification. It sure was nice to see this photo and I really appreciate the person who did it. It brought back alot of memories of the people in it. If anyone has a 1983 or 1984 photo of the unit like this one I would be so happy to see it as I lost mine years ago. I am trying to get in touch with SSG James Malone or his wife Toni if anyone knows where they are. I sure do miss the times and great memories that place and fellow soldiers brought into my life. I wish I could go back and relive those moments. If anyone knows me feel free to contact me at sheridan4sharon@gmail.com or if they have any pictures of the unit please send them! Thank you and god bless.

I remember that photo. the only one left when I got to A/25 was Spc Ezelle who was a SGT by the time I got there. I was with A/25 from 91-93 and was in the same section as Brian Glasspoole.
