You may or may not want to publish this in-light of what I am writing about but here goes..
I was at Peden Barracks from November of 79- December 0f 81 E company 3rd Aviation Battalion Combat.
I was an Aircraft Electrician I have many fond memories of that time and some not so fond ones but I am to blame for those.

Sp-4 Brian A Tetta was a great guy He was assigned to show me around the unit and area and was my roommate for 6 months up until the crash occurred. I still think of him often. the captain in the crash was our XO Captain Sexton.
Some people in my Company might still think of me and my actions at the time, In an unfavorable light due to two incidents that happened while I was there.
One involving a deuce and a half truck with with a freind and I almost dieing a bad accident or should I say Incident that almost destroyed a guesthouse/bowling alley in Kreutz Werthiem that only a few people know about and the other involving Army Central Intel and Military police and me becoming a scapegoat for them and being made-out to be a nark and almost killed by people in my own company.
Anyone who was there at that time knows how Hot with drugs Peden was but only a chosen few know how deep it went into our company with Helicopters flying in the stuff and MP's involved in the leadership. I could write a book about my story and if anyone wants to know more I would be happy to tell them the truth as I was very much used. After refusing to work with Central Intel they used the narcs they had imbedded in our company to make me a scapegoat and try to flush-out those involved in the largest drug distribution network in Germany at the time.
